This is my initial thoughts as one of my designs for my front cover or my advertorial I am yet to decide which one i will put it on but i do like the design and the concept I just think that it is too spaced out and it looks as if there is a lot of empty space around it.
This is my final image for my advert in the magazine. I do like the minimalism of the piece but I don't like how spaced all of the features are as I think that I could have made it look more professional however that is something that I will change in the future. What I based my design on was the project that canon had previously done for the animal eye where it featured the eye of an animal however I wanted to do a twist on this former project by using the Canon EOS R5 as the iris of my cover model as I thought that this would be an attractive feature that will make more people look at my advert for the canon and it would also mean that the company may employ further services as I have used former assets and improved it.
This is the focus group that I have decided to use for my Canon project.
I like the plain look of the advertorial however I also think that it has a bit of a blocky look to the design and could use more sharp features to improve the look of the advertorial and make it seem as if it is from a conglomerate company although with the more rudimentary approach to my advertorial it matches the final advert that also accompanies the magazine meaning that I have a certain style that follows a specific design which I think gives it more of a unique selling point which will attract more readers into viewing the product that I have been advertising. To create this poster all of the photoshop techniques that I used although basic still give that slight professional look to the poster. For example one of the tools that I used was a very basic cropping tool to make the red boxes align with the actual images that I used for my advertorial however I rotated them to make it more unique look and not as boring and basic as other advertorials.
